At Lunara Maine Coons Cattery LLC, our goal is to ensure that every kitten is placed in a loving, responsible, and permanent home. Because our kittens are living animals and not products, we do not accept returns or offer cash refunds once a kitten has left our care.
Deposits and Payments
All deposits and payments made toward the purchase of a kitten are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposits secure your selected kitten and hold them exclusively for you, removing them from public availability. This policy protects both the buyer and the breeder, ensuring fairness and clarity for all parties involved.
Kitten Health and Guarantee
Each kitten leaves our cattery with:
• A Florida-issued health certificate from a licensed veterinarian
• Full vaccination and parasite testing records
• Proof of negative FIV/FeLV results
• Parents’ DNA test results confirming they are clear of HCM, SMA, and PKDef
Buyers are encouraged to have their kitten examined by their own licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup or delivery. If, during that exam, a life-threatening congenital health condition is documented in writing by a licensed veterinarian, and confirmed by our veterinary team, a replacement kitten of equal value may be offered when one becomes available. No monetary refunds will be given.
Buyer Responsibilities
Once a kitten leaves Lunara Maine Coons Cattery LLC, all care, safety, and expenses become the responsibility of the buyer. We are not responsible for health issues resulting from improper care, accidents, exposure to illness, or failure to follow veterinary advice.
Buyers must also adhere to the signed contract regarding spay/neuter requirements, veterinary care, and proper housing and nutrition. Failure to meet contractual terms may void any health guarantees.
Delivery and Travel Policies
We proudly offer delivery within the state of Florida and meetups at Orlando International Airport for buyers who wish to fly in for pickup. All delivery, flight nanny, or travel fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
At this time, we do not allow in-home visits or pickups. This policy is in place for the safety of our children and to protect the health and comfort of our queens and kittens, who do not respond well to unfamiliar visitors or high-stress environments.
Communication and Support
Lunara Maine Coons Cattery LLC provides lifetime breeder support for every kitten. We are always available for questions, updates, or guidance, and we encourage ongoing communication throughout your cat’s life.
If at any time you are unable to keep your kitten or cat, we ask that you contact us directly. We will assist with responsible rehoming or help find a new approved home.
