Our kittens are ready to leave between 14–16 weeks of age. This allows them to be fully weaned, well-socialized, and receive all age-appropriate vaccinations and health certificates. Kittens leave approximately one week after their spay or neuter surgery, unless they are approved for breeding rights, in which case they may be placed sooner—typically around 14 weeks of age depending on their health and readiness.
Kittens sold as pets are spayed or neutered prior to placement and leave approximately one week after surgery. Breeding kittens are exempt from early altering and may leave sooner based on their health and readiness, typically around 14 weeks.
Yes! We offer delivery within Florida, and delivery fees may apply depending on your location and travel distance. We can also coordinate convenient meeting arrangements within the state or at Orlando International Airport for families who are flying in to pick up their kitten.
(Please note: Air travel fees and transportation arrangements are the buyer’s responsibility. Lunara Maine Coons does not ship kittens via cargo or third-party airline transport for the health, safety, and sanitary well-being of our kittens. Buyers traveling from out of state must arrange to meet us in Florida to receive their kitten.)
Yes. To officially reserve a kitten, a deposit is required. Buyers may choose to place a half deposit to hold the kitten or pay the full amount upfront if preferred. Kittens remain available to other approved buyers until a deposit has been received.
All deposits and payments are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a deposit is made, the selected kitten is marked as reserved and removed from public availability. Other interested families are redirected to remaining kittens, and space for your chosen kitten is secured exclusively for your home. For this reason, deposits should only be placed by buyers who are fully committed to moving forward.
A deposit agreement must be signed at the time the deposit is submitted, acknowledging the non-refundable nature of the payment for the reservation of the kitten. The remaining balance, if applicable, is due prior to pickup or delivery.

We accept Zelle, PayPal, and major electronic payment options. Any processing or transaction fees associated with electronic payment services (such as PayPal) are the responsibility of the buyer. All payments are non-refundable and must be completed prior to pickup or delivery. We do not accept cash or personal checks.

Pet Maine Coon kittens are priced at $4,200. Pricing reflects European bloodlines, comprehensive veterinary care, spay/neuter surgery, ethical breeding practices, and lifelong breeder support. Pricing is firm.
All pet kittens are placed under a strict spay/neuter agreement.

Yes. All kittens from Lunara Maine Coons are sold with a Two-year genetic health guarantee, as outlined in the sales contract. This guarantee confirms that each kitten is in good health at the time of placement and free from known, life-threatening genetic or congenital conditions as determined by a licensed veterinarian.
To validate the health guarantee, buyers are required to have their kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within the timeframe specified in the contract. Written documentation must be provided if any concerns arise.
The health guarantee does not cover conditions resulting from stress, environmental changes, nutrition, parasites, injuries, or common non-genetic illnesses. It also does not cover minor or treatable conditions, or conditions that develop after placement. Failure to comply with the veterinary examination and care requirements outlined in the contract may void the health guarantee.

Yes. All breeding cats at Lunara Maine Coons complete comprehensive health and genetic screening prior to being approved for our breeding program. This includes full DNA testing through Wisdom Panel®, cardiac evaluation via veterinary echocardiogram to monitor for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), orthopedic assessments such as hip evaluations, and routine pre-breeding veterinary examinations. These combined screenings allow us to make responsible breeding decisions focused on long-term health and structural soundness. A copy of applicable parent genetic testing and health documentation is provided with each kitten for their new family’s records and veterinary
Yes. Families interested in adopting two kittens may be given priority consideration for placement and pairing decisions when discussed prior to placement.
We strongly encourage littermates or bonded kittens to remain together when appropriate, as this supports healthy social development, smoother transitions, and long-term emotional well-being.

Breeding rights are granted selectively and on a case-by-case basis to approved individuals or established catteries only.
To be considered, the buyer must hold an active, verifiable membership in good standing with a recognized feline association such as TICA, WCF, CFA, or an equivalent organization. A registered cat alone does not meet this requirement; the breeder must maintain an active membership tied to their program to ensure proper pedigree transfers, registration, and future litter documentation.
All breeding rights and pedigree transfers are completed exclusively through the appropriate governing association.
Lunara Maine Coons places the highest priority on ethical breeding practices, comprehensive health testing, responsible animal care, and full transparency. Any breeder granted breeding rights is expected to uphold the same standards we maintain within our own program.
Breeding rights are not offered for every kitten and are reserved for programs that align with our vision and values.
Breeding rights pricing begins at $5,500+, with final pricing determined by pedigree, quality, and intended program placement. A detailed breeding contract is required and reviewed individually prior to approval.
No. All deposits and all payments made to Lunara Maine Coons are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason. This includes changes of mind, personal or financial circumstances, allergies, housing issues, travel problems, or delays on the buyer’s end. Deposits are made to reserve a specific kitten and are not a placeholder while deciding. Once a deposit is submitted, that kitten is removed from availability and we decline other qualified inquiries. No exceptions are made. Please do not submit a deposit or payment unless you are 100% committed. We work with serious inquiries only. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy as outlined in our contract.
